Smart Meter Functionality
From CEER 4th Benchmarking Study on Electricity Quality:
In Spain, only certain recommendations about the capabilities of new smart meters to collect quality parameters have
been considered in actual regulation (Royal Decree 1110/2007). Some distribution firms have declared their intentions to
follow this recommendation and are going to introduce equipment that is not only able to record and collect measurements
but that also has features to register the duration for which the voltage is beyond the thresholds and continuity.
