Please use the form below to provide details on your project.

Meterpedia Project Submission

Please fill out the form below and the details will be added to the site and the googlemap. This is quite a comprehensive form, so please don't feel obliged to add all of the detail if you don't know it. A number of fields are required to help us locate and document the project, but most of the remaining fields are optional.
  • About You

  • Who do you work for, if relevant
  • This is where we will notify you of the project being added to the site and map
When we add the project to the site, we can provide 'source' details. This may help visitors who have questions about your project. Of course, we can keep it private too.
  • About the project

  • Whose project is this? If you cannot attribute this to a single utility or association of utilities, perhaps it would be better suited to one of the other submission forms on the site.
  • Will be added to the map/meterpedia
  • Does the utility have a specific smart metering page/section? Is there a relevant press release? Please add it here
  • Where is the project taking place. Specifically, where would you like the map marker to be? City, State/Region & Country would be very helpful here.
This will help determine the type of map marker that is used
Is this a trial exercise, or a full roll out of metering? Again, will help determine the type of map marker we use.
  • As short explanation of the business, policy or regulatory drivers for the project.
  • Technical Details

Please complete as much as you can, it all helps
Check as many as are applicable
A list of some of the common features of smart metering deployments - please use the notes field below to provide any additional information.
  • Any other information on functionality that might be relevant - is the project testing new smart grid technology or using innovative approaches to customers or demand response?
Check as many as are applicable. What is the primary method of communicating with the meters - this should be focused on the last mile - i.e. what is the media for connecting to the meter themselves?
  • Any notes or additional information on the communications being used. This could include detail on the backhaul, frequency, concentrators etc.
  • Project Dimensions

How many, how much, how long?
  • Total Number of Meters
  • Total Number of Meters
  • Total Number of Meters
  • Total Number of Meters
  • The overall cost of the project (or the metering element at least). US$ preferred, but please use the notes field to clarify anything!
  • Any information to support the cost figures provided - i.e. they are in Euros, or are for the total project spend, which might include IS investment or non-meter assets.
  • When will/did the project start? A year is probably the right level of detail
  • When will/did the project end? Again, a year is fine for the level of detail.
  • Project Progress

Not all projects are new - some are well underway or have been finished. We'd still like to hear about them!
  • How many meters have been installed so far?
  • How many meters have been installed so far?
  • How many meters have been installed so far?
  • How many meters have been installed so far?
  • Partners

Details, if available of the companies supporting the project
  • Who is supplying the meters for this project. If it is more than one company, please provide details in the notes field below
  • Who is providing the comms? This may be the meter provider themselves, or a separate organisation such as Silver Spring Networks, Aclara or Trilliant. If there is no simple answer, please use the notes field below.
  • Typically, the MDM provider, but could also include the systems integrator. Again, please add notes if needed!
  • Any additional information on the companies involved in the project
  • Finally...

  • We will add any additional information you'd like to provide on the project.

    Dear Sirs,
We are facing some problems while trying to add an AMI project to your web site, namely the submission is not possible because of mistakes in field type of project and some others ереф are highlited after trying to submit. We have chosen appropriate variants from these field but this is not changing anything.

    - Type of project (checkboxes are marked but it’s requiered again)
    - utility being metered (checkboxes are marked but it’s requiered again)

    What can I do?

    Best regards,
